  • For promotion to the next higher class, a student is required to secure 75% of attendance in each subject (condonable to 60% on medical ground) besides successful performance in the Annual examination.

  • Application for exemption from appearing at the 1st terminal / Annual exam. will not ordinarily be entertained. Students are not usually allowed to attend sports meet, cultural camps during examination period. In exceptional cases applications for exemptions made by parents/guardians duly supported by medical certificate regarding illness and endorsement of the proctors concerned may be considered.

  • A student found adopting unfair means in the Examination is liable to be detained.
Regulation for the +3 Examination
  • Clarification regarding Regulation for the +3 B. A. / (Pass & Hons) examinations (Three year Degree Course):

 

  • "The Regulation vide correctionship No. 1222 under clause No. 1.2 says that "Filling up forms for examination in each year is mandatory, if a student does not fill up form for the relevant year and examination (Ist University examination and 2nd University examination) he/she shall neither be promoted to the next higher class nor shall he/she be allowed to take year back examination. Studentship of such student shall cease at the end of the Academic year".

 

  • In this connection, I am to certify you that if a student does not fill up the format the year and examination for reasons other than shortage of attendance i.e. Ist year examination, he/she will take further admission in the Ist year again and if a student does not fill up the form for the 2nd year end examination, he/she will take further admission in the 2nd year again and fill up the form for the said examination next year. If a student does not fill up the forms for the final year examination after taking readmission in the final year, he/she will fill up the forms for the Final Examination for the next year. For the above cases the said examinations will be treated as Ist Back appearance. He/She will complete the course within 5 years of Ist registration to First University examination.

 

  • Further, I am to inform you that the Hard case rule will be applicable to the students, while computing the Final results, those who will appear the Ist year (2nd Back) Examinations to clear the Ist year examination and 2nd year (Ist Back) examination to clear the 2nd year examination. In no case the Hard case Rule will be applicable to the students who will not appear the Ist year (2nd Back) Examinations and 2nd year (Ist Back) Examination.
